In a massive turnout of grades K-2, Omar led Clermont Elementary students in a read aloud of The Book That Almost Rhymed, followed by an interactive session where we created our own story together!

KAA hosted Omar in their spacious auditorium for two presentations of The Book That Almost Rhymed. In each session, students got to create their own collaborative story, with Omar guiding them through the concepts of character, setting, and plot.

Medina Montessori was kind enough to host Omar for two sessions. In the first, Omar read The Book That Almost Rhymed to students aged 3-6. They laughed out loud at every plot twist! Next, Omar led an interactive session with students aged 6-12 as we created our own story, together.

Debut picture book author, Omar Abed, will be coming to READ's Book Nook on Saturday, April 13th at 10:30am for a presentation, READ-Aloud, and book signing!

Join us at Scrawl Books on Saturday, March 30 at 11AM as we welcome debut picture book author Omar Abed! Omar will be celebrating the release of The Book That Almost Rhymed. This book is silly and boisterous, and perfect for a variety of ages!

Perfect for ages 3 - 10. Families will learn about Omar's new upcoming books to be published in 2024 and then we will invent our own story!
